Police on Martha's Vineyard are asking for the public's help finding an attempted home break-in suspect.

Oak Bluffs police say a Pond View Drive resident confronted a masked suspect outside of the home just after midnight on Friday, and that the suspect ran away toward the road.

The suspect apparently entered the property from Grovedale Road and was wearing a mask, believed to be a paintball mask, a hooded sweatshirt and had mini binoculars hanging around their neck.

Anyone with information on the masked suspect is asked to call Oak Bluffs police detectives at 508-693-0750.
