A pre-trial hearing for the two men involved in a wild road rage confrontation on the Massachusetts Turnpike, caught on camera back in January, has been postponed.

Mark Fitzgerald, 37, of Ashland, and Richard Kamrowski, 65, of Framingham, were charged in connection to the Jan. 25 encounter. Kamrowski allegedly jumped on the hood of Fitzgerald’s SUV following a verbal altercation. Fitzgerald then took off for "a very significant distance" with the man still on his vehicle, according to officials.

Exclusive NBC10 Boston video shows the wild encounter on Interstate 90 in Weston. Fitzgerald drove at speeds that reached 70 mph during the incident, according to authorities.

He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60, negligent operation of a car and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Fitzgerald pleaded not guilty during a January court appearance. He was ordered to be held on $500 bail.

Kamrowski was charged with disorderly conduct and malicious damage to a car. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf in January.

The road rage stemmed from a minor side-sweep crash on the westbound lanes of I-90, according to prosecutors.

The pre-trial conference held Wednesday was continued to May because prosecutors are reviewing evidence.
