Nevada gambling regulators say they will fine Wynn Resorts after an investigation found former executives failed on multiple occasions to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct against Wynn.

Massachusetts gambling regulators are expecting the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by casino mogul Steve Wynn soon.

State Gaming Commission Chairwoman Cathy Judd-Stein said Thursday the panel has done its part to finalize a settlement in the Nevada suit, which seeks to block release of Massachusetts' investigation into allegations Wynn engaged in sexual misconduct with female employees.

The commission said the long-awaited report will be made public when it holds hearings on Wynn Resorts' suitability to continue holding a state casino license.

The company is slated to open a $2 billion resort near Boston in June. The Nevada Gaming Commission recently levied a $20 million fine on the company for failing to investigate the misconduct allegations.
