Gov. Baker Discusses Legislative Plans at Annual Address

Gov. Charlie Baker will deliver his plans for the next year in his annual address to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.

The Republican will reveal his legislative plan and proposals for the $42 billion budget, which will need to be approved by July 1.

Baker was re-elected as Massachusetts' governor last November after holding two-thirds of the vote against Democrat Jay Gonzalez. During his inauguration speech last month, he promised to continue his focus on improving public transportation, combatting the opioid addiction crisis and battling climate change.
