A Massachusetts man is facing child pornography charges.
Twenty-nine-year-old Francis Clifford Tarr of Orleans was charged with distributing and possessing child pornography on Thursday.
Yarmouth police say their investigation started a few months ago when a detective received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about images that had been shared on the internet and included the name of an account subscriber, eventually traced back to Tarr.
Tarr's alleged victims had ages that ranged from 4 to 15 years old.
He's due to be arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Thursday.
It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
