Massachusetts State Police Add Suspected Child Rapist to Most Wanted List

John Munroe, 75, was arrested in September by Fall River Police

A 75-year-old Massachusetts man, who is suspected of child rape, has been added to the state's Most Wanted fugitives list. 

John F. Munroe was arrested in September by Fall River Police on charges of rape of a child with force, aggravated rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, enticement of a child under 16, exhibiting a child in a nude or lascivious pose, and possession of child pornography. 

He was placed on a court-ordered GPS monitoring device while awaiting trial. 

On or around Oct. 23, Munroe intentionally removed the monitoring device and fled, according to police. His vehicle was later found in the town of Hull. 

Munroe is described as being 5'10" and weighs 250 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes and a light complexion. He has a tattoo on his right forearm depicting a dog's head with a collar.
