Police: Car With Maine Plates Hit Tow Driver in Peabody, Fled

Massachusetts State Police are investigating a pedestrian hit-and-run crash that left a tow truck driver injured.

Police responded shortly before 9 p.m. to Route 128 northbound in Peabody, where the driver was hit outside his truck.

The victim was taken to Lahey Hospital with minor injuries.

State police are looking for a white 2016 Nissan Altima with Maine plates reading "7436WM."

Longtime political journalist Cokie Roberts has died at the age of 75.
