Massachusetts State Police Troopers Rescue Fawn From Highway

The animal was attempting to cross Route 2 in Shelburne

Even the toughest of men have their soft spots...

Massachusetts State Police Trooper Sean LeBlanc and Sergeant Brian Gladu scooped up a fawn from the highway in Shelburne.

The animal, which was attempting to cross Route 2, appeared injured, or might have just been having trouble adjusting to its new legs.

After consulting with an area veterinarian, the troopers provided the fawn with some food, and released it in a safe area.
