A 68-year-old man tried luring a young girl riding a bicycle into his car, Milford police said.
Thomas Stanton, of Milford, asked a young girl riding her bike to get into his vehicle on Dec. 27, according to police. The girl was able to escape and call police from a friend's house.
Police arrested Stanton who was found a short time after the incident. He is being charged with breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor. His bail is set at $5,000.
