A woman was struck by a garbage truck while crossing the street in Milford, Massachusetts.
The Milford Police report the 69-year-old woman from Hopedale was struck while crossing the street at West and West Maple streets on Wednesday afternoon. She suffered an injury to her right foot and was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Milford Police say the accident is under investigation. They say it appears the woman was was not paying attention while crossing the street and walked into the side of the truck as it was turning the corner.
