Missing NH Inmate Back in Prison

A minimum security New Hampshire inmate officials say walked away from a Concord facility earlier this month has been returned to prison.

Stephen Roy, 27, left the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Transitional Work Center on July 3, according to department officials.

Wednesday, Roy was sent back to the New Hampshire State Prison.

Authorities did not release any information about how Roy was caught.

Roy was serving a sentence of three to 10 years for robbery. He was set to be eligible for parole January 14, 2016.
