Massachusetts police say the Sherborn man who last seen on Sunday, has been located safely.
Authorities said 20-year-old Alexander Barberio was found sometime on Tuesday.
His parents, Michael and Dana Barberio, told NBC Boston that their son was found on the streets of Worcester by a former Worcester Polytechnic Institute classmate who he also knew from church.
"I was so overjoyed to hear his voice," said his mom, Dana Barberio. "It's just incredible. I just can't believe it."
The Barbeiro's said the friend and her boyfriend kept Alexander at her apartment until the police arrived. They say he is OK physically, but is at an area hospital for an evaluation.
Barberio's family had told police he walked away from home over the weekend after testing positive for Lyme disease. He was apparently showing significant cognitive problems.
