Restortations Underway After More Than 10K Lose Power

There is no timeline for power restoration

More than 10,000 customers lost power throughout Massachusetts as a powerful storm brought damaging winds and heavy rain Tuesday.

There are more than 2,000 reported outages in Bristol County, Hampshire County, Norfolk County and Worcester County each, according to National Grid.

As of 10:40 a.m., the number of affected customers in Massachusetts was just over 4,100.

Meanwhile, more than 1,200 National Grid customers in Rhode Island lost their power overnight, while Eversource reported nearly 6,000 customers without power in Connecticut. Nearly 900 customers were affected by power outages in New Hampshire, and more than 2,100 customers lost power in Maine.

There is no timeline for power restoration.
