The incident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 130 and Cross Road

Police in Brookline, New Hampshire, say a motorcycle driver is dead following a multi-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 130 and Cross Road.

Police say a Ford Ranger being operated by Steven Taylor, 18, of Leominster, Massachusetts, was traveling westbound on Route 130.

A motorcycle being operated by Glenn Annis, 65, of Hudson, New Hampshire, and another motorcycle being operated by Steven Thomas, 55, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, were traveling eastbound on Route 130.

Police say Taylor failed to yield when turning left onto Cross Road and struck Annis. His vehicle then sideswiped a Toyota Yaris being driven by Wende Brown, of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, who was stopped at a stop sign.

Thomas managed to avoid the crash by laying his motorcycle down.

Annis suffered severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Taylor and Brown did not suffer any injures. Thomas was treated and released at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
