Motorcyclist Faces Life-Threatening Injuries After Kingston Crash

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a serious crash in Kingston, New Hampshire, Thursday evening.

Police say the crash happened on NH Route 125 around 9 p.m. after a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Christopher St. Onge, 23, of Kingston, crashed into a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Matthew Sommers, 31, of Kingston.

Police say initial investigation shows that St. Onge was trying to make a left hand turn onto Debra Road and did not see Sommers, who struck the front right side of the vehicle and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Sommers sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center. St. Onge was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation.

NH Route 125 in the area of Debra Road was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene.

Police say that impairment was not a factor in the crash and that they are continuing to investigate the incident.

New Hampshire state police were assisted on scene by the Kingston Police Department and the Kingston Fire Department.
