Motorist Charged With DUI After Crashing Into House

New Hampshire State Police say a person is charged with drunk driving after crashing a vehicle into a home Friday night.

Around 10:18 p.m., police responded to the crash on Main Street in Gilsum. Preliminary investigation reveals the vehicle was speeding when it left the roadway, struck several trees, and crashed into a home at the corner of Banks Road and Main Street.

The passenger of the vehicle, 39-year-old Jessica Libbey of Gilsum, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center via medical helicopter.

The driver, identified as 21-year-old Jesse Baldinelli of Gilsum, was determined to be under the influence at the scene. He was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a second offense of driving after suspension, and conduct after an accident.

Baldinelli is being held on cash bail ahead of his arraignment on Monday.
