    Apparent Murder-Suicide in Maine Leaves 2 Dead, Police Say

    Authorities in Maine are investigating what they believe is a murder-suicide that left a couple dead. 

    Christal Denis, 45, was found dead by police in her home on New Dam Road in Waterboro around 8 p.m. Sheriff's department deputies also found her husband Christopher Denis, who is also 45 years old, dead at the home. Officers said that Christopher shot his wife with a shotgun before shooting himself.

    The two bodies were found in the living room of the house. Both Christal and Christopher worked for Deer Pond Fuel in North Waterboro, according to police.

    Autopsies are being conducted Sunday in Augusta.
