Museums in Massachusetts Will Be Free for Smithsonian's ‘Museum Day Live' on Saturday

There are over 40 museums in the state that are participating

Over 40 museums in Massachusetts will be free for admission as part of Smithsonian Magazine's 'Museum Day Live' event on Saturday.

Museum-goers can go online and order their ticket that provides free admission to one of the participating museums for two people.

Among the museums that are participating in the event are the Museum of African American History in Boston, The John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site in Brookline, the Children's Museum of Greater Fall River in Fall River, the Salem Witch Museum in Salem, and the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester.

According to Smithsonian Magazine the day is "an annual celebration of boundless curiosity" that encourages people across the country to visit museums.
