Police are investigating a shooting that left a home in Salisbury, Massachusetts with bullet holes.

Shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday, the Salisbury Police Department received a call that a home on High Street was struck with stray bullets. Upon arrival, officials found 15 shell casings believed to have been discharged from a 9 mm-style of gun, according to police.

"I'm a little freaked out," said Coryauna Pacheco, who lives across the street from the targeted home. "Two small kids in the area, you know. It's just a little creepy."

Pacheco said she initially assumed the shots were fireworks. Neighbors say the people who live in the house have never caused problems and they describe the area as peaceful.

Officials determined the shots came from outside of the house. No one was injured.

Authorities believe that the incident is isolated and that there is no imminent threat or danger to the public.

Salisbury police say the shooting was an isolated incident and ask anyone with information to contact them at 978-465-3121.
