NH Inmate Back in Custody After Walking Away From Work Release Program

A New Hampshire inmate who walked away from a work release program is back in custody, according to authorities.

Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher W. Wathen, who had been serving a two and half to five year sentence for robbery, was taken into custody in Manchester Tuesday afternoon after being placed on "walkaway" status, the state's Department of Corrections said.

He'll be returned to New Hampshire State Prison's special housing unit.
