NH Man Sentenced to 6 Years for Child Pornography Possession

A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to six years in prison for possession of child pornography.

Fifty-one-year-old Daniel Petrin of Laconia was convicted following an investigation that began in 2009. The court determined that Petrin had bought sexually explicit images of children from someone in Italy.\

In addition to prison, Petrin was fined $5,000 and required to register as a sex offender.

Petrin will be on probation for 10 years after his release.
