A New Hampshire man has been arrested on murder charges days after he allegedly shot another man to death.

The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office confirmed Wednesday that 26-year-old Paul Dimick has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 32-year-old Justin Lee on Friday.

Around 11 a.m., Lee was shot on Hanover Street. He was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound and later died. Police later surrounded a home at the corner of Hanover Street and Maple Street, where the shooting suspect was believed to be barricaded.

SWAT teams also searched nearby apartment buildings for the shooter.

Later that night, MacDonald announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for Dimick, who remained at large.

The attorney general's office said a tip led investigators to the area of East High Street and Malvern Street, where Dimick was arrested after being spotted leaving a house Wednesday afternoon.

A $5,000 reward was offered for information leading to Dimick's arrest. It was not immediately clear if that reward was being issued.

In addition to the second-degree murder charge, Dimick faces a count of being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon. He is due to be arraigned Thursday afternoon at Hillsborough County Superior Court. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 603-624-4040 or 603-792-5500.
