Rochester Police say a 14-year-old boy was stuck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Wakefield Street Wednesday morning after being dropped off for school.

Police and emergency medical services responded to Spaulding High School for the reported vehicle versus pedestrian collision.

According to officials, the driver was identified as 31-year-old Sarah E. O'Halloran of Sanbornville.

Authorities say the hit caused the teen to strike the windshield and land on the pavement.

The teen was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital. O'Halloran was not injured.

Rochester police continue to investigate and talk to witnesses.
