Police: 2 Dead in Nashua Car Crash; Impact of Crash Split Vehicle in Half

Two people were killed and a third person was injured in a New Hampshire crash involving a telephone pole that split open the vehicle, police said Monday.

Nashua officers responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Bridge and Sanders streets just after 10 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found that the three people inside of the vehicle had been ejected from the car from impact of the crash.

The two victims who were killed died at the scene, police said, while the third victim was taken to a local hospital and then to a Boston-area hospital with serious injuries. The third victim's current condition is unknown.

The names of those killed and of the hospitalized victim have not been released.

The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
