Authorities: Autopsies Show Man Killed Woman, Then Self

77-year-old John Kerrigan and 56-year-old Marci Tenovsky were found dead in Kerrigan's Nashua home on Sunday

New Hampshire authorities investigating the deaths of a man and a woman at a Nashua home say it appears the man shot and killed the woman, and then shot and killed himself.

Autopsies were completed Monday on 56-year-old Marci Tenovsky and 77-year-old John Kerrigan, Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Nashua Police Chief Michael Carignan announced.

Tenovsky and Kerrigan were found dead in Kerrigan's Millwright Drive home on Sunday.

The state's chief medical examiner determined Tenovsky's cause of death was two gunshot wounds to the head, and the manner of her death was homicide.

It was ruled that Kerrigan died from a single gunshot wound to the head and his manner of death was suicide.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding these two deaths remains active and ongoing.
