6 Arrested After Neighborhood Disturbance in Rochester, NH

The incident was the result of an ongoing neighbor dispute that escalated out of control, police said

A neighborhood disturbance involving baseball bats, pipes and pepper spray led to the arrest of six people Monday afternoon in Rochester, New Hampshire, police said.

Up to 13 people were involved in the incident near Heaton Street and Ricker Court, for which police responded about 4:22 p.m., according to a statement from Rochester police.

The incident was the result of an ongoing neighbor dispute that escalated out of control, police said. The details of that dispute were not disclosed.

During the incident, one woman was punched in the head and had to be taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said. Her condition is unclear.

Five of the six people arrested are facing a riot charge, a felony level offense, police said. They were identified as:

  • Darcie Hibbard, 38, of Rochester
  • Adrian Hibbard, 35, of Rochester
  • Gary Hibbard, 36, of Rochester
  • Perry Brown, 45, of Rochester
  • Marcus Pritchett, 38, of Dorchester, Massachusetts

All five were released on personal recognizance and are expected to be arraigned Oct. 10 in Strafford Superior Court.

Another man, Shawn Harriman, 35 of Rochester, was arrested for having three electronic bench warrants: criminal threatening, criminal mischief and false report to law enforcement.

Harriman was also released on personal recognizance. It's unclear when he is due in court.
