A Massachusetts judge on Wednesday decided to keep bail set at $35,000 for Abdulrhman Abduljalil.

Prosecutors had asked that bail for the 31-year-old Pelham, New Hampshire man be set at $100,000. Prosecutors say the family of the children Abduljalil is charged with sexually assaulting reported seeing him driving around their neighborhood.

Authorities say the rapes happened at a Weymouth, Massachusetts home in May.

Prosecutors say police discovered physical evidence supporting the children's story that Abduljalil had touched them both inappropriately.

The Saudi national faces charges including rape of a child with force and aggravated statutory rape.

Defense Attorney Melissa Fournier says the allegations are a blackmail attempt by the children's parents.
