NH Man Wearing Fishnets, Devil Horns Arrested After Trying to Break Into Home

A New Hampshire man wearing a long black wig and devil horns was arrested after he allegedly tried to break into a home.

Merrimack police responded to call for an attempted breaking-and-entering around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Grouse Lane. The resident said the suspect was attempting to open doors and was banging on windows.

At the scene, police said they saw someone, later identified as 31-year-old Eric Mann of Merrimack, standing near the home’s emergency access gate. He allegedly ran off after seeing officers, which led to a brief foot pursuit.

Mann, who was wearing makeup and fishnet stockings, was caught by officers and arrested. He was charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

"The subject initially appeared to be a female with long black hair, costume devil horns, makeup as well as women's fishnet type stockings," police said in a press release.

Man is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 29 in the Ninth Circuit Court in Merrimack. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
