The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade route across South Boston has been altered this year due to this winter's heavy snowfall.
The parade route begins at the MBTA's Broadway station, continues down West Broadway and East Broadway Streets, and ends at Farragut Road.
Over 100 inches of snow has fallen in the City of Boston this winter, making it the second snowiest winter on record.
The St. Patrick's Day Breakfast will be held at the nearby Boston Convention and Exhibition Center at 10 a.m. The parade is scheduled to begin immediately following the event at 12:30 p.m.
