New York Man Sought in Drug-Related Augusta, Maine, Homicide

Authorities are searching for a fourth person, identified as a New York man, in connection with a drug-related homicide in Maine.

Maine State Police say 26-year-old Aubrey Armstrong of Far Rockaway, New York, was indicted by a Kennebec County Grand Jury last month for his connection in the death of 31-year-old Joseph Marceau, who was killed in an Augusta apartment on Nov. 23.

Police say they believe Armstrong fled back to New York after Marceau's murder, and that the U.S. Marshal's Service and New York law enforcement are also being asked to look for him.

Armstrong is described as 5-foot 8-inches tall, weighs about 155 pounds and goes by the street name "Butta," according to state police.

Anyone with information about Armstrong's whereabouts is asked to call Maine State Police at 207-624-7076 or your local police department.

He's the fourth person sought by police in connection with Marceau's death. Damik Davis from New York and an Augusta couple - Zina Fritze and Sean McQuade - have already been charged. Fritze committed suicide in her jail cell two days after being charged with homicide.
