If driving on High Street in Newburyport, Massachusetts, recently has had you consider changing your eyeglass prescription, you're not alone.
The road's about to get a new paint job to replace one that didn't exactly line up with the city's vision.
High St. has undergone a recent repaving, which included the addition of separate lanes for activities like cycling.
But the painted lines are crooked in places, going through crosswalks and other road markings.
Drivers also hit the wet paint with their cars, which smeared it in some places.
"I think that a lot of kids had a really fun time driving through the wet paint," said one woman, who asked not to be named. "That's what it looks like to me."
The street "looks like a theme park," a woman said on Facebook.

While social media may be getting a laugh out of the situation, Newburyport Mayor Donna Holaday wrote a more serious blog post about it.
She called the line painting "poor workmanship" by the contractor, whom she says "accepted responsibility" and will be "repainting the lines at no cost."
That's welcome news for Bob Pezzela, who lives in the area and cycles down High Street to get to trails and other areas he says are good for bicyclists.
"We want the bike lanes and we want it to be safe," Pezzela said. "Any lines are better than no lines, but they just need to make it right."
NBC10 Boston reached out to city officials at Newburyport's Department of Public Services but did not immediately hear back Friday afternoon.
The repaint is scheduled for next week.
