A 70-year-old woman was flown to a Boston hospital after a serious vehicle and pedestrian crash in Massachusetts.
Newburyport police say it happened at the intersection of State and High streets Tuesday morning.
The victim's current condition is unclear.
Police say the driver of the car that hit the victim stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The crash is still under investigation.
