    Police Investigate Theft of More Than $6K Worth of Lingerie

    Police in New Hampshire are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars' worth of lingerie.

    Victoria's Secret employees tell Newington police that $6,514 worth of undergarments were stolen between Oct. 10 and 12. Mall security is also investigating the crime.

    Police Chief Michael Bilodeau said details about how the thefts took place are scant.

    Bilodeau tells the Portsmouth Herald that it's "frustrating" because police were not notified promptly.

    Some Leavenworth County, Kansas, officials are calling for Commissioner Louis Klemp's resignation after he insulted a black woman who had just presented a land-use study to the commission. "I don't want you to think I am picking on you because we are part of the master race. You have a gap in your teeth. We are part of the master race, don't you forget that," Klemp said.
