    Firefighters Battle House Fire in Halifax

    Two people and a dog were displaced by a fire that broke out in Halifax.

    Crews are battling a 2-alarm fire that left two people and a pet displaced Tuesday in Halifax, Massachusetts.

    Firefighters responded to a fire that broke out around 7:30 p.m. on Milford Street, near the Hanson line. Fire officials initially said the blaze was in Hanson.

    By the time crews arrived, the fire was already raging through the roof. The two people and dog that live in the home were already safe outside.

    The Red Cross is helping the people who were displaced.
