Vermont State Police say a fire in Putney Wednesday afternoon is considered suspicious.
Fire crews responded to the fire at 47 Fred Houghton Road at 12:17 p.m. Flames were coming from the home’s garage and upper level, which housed a small apartment.
Damages were estimated at $65,000 and no one was injured in the fire.
Officials say investigation shows the fire is suspicious and anyone with information is asked to call the Arson Tip Line at 1-800-32-ARSON or call police at 802-875-2112.
There is a $5,000 reward for info leading up to the arrest.
