A man faces a litany of charges after allegedly sexually assaulting an underage girl in two New England states.
George Wamboldt, 33, of Fall River, Massachusetts, is accused of assaulting the child in that city and in Rochester, New Hampshire.
Massachusetts prosecutors say Wamboldt and the victim exchanged explicit text messages with graphic photos between Sept. 22 and Oct. 6.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office says police arrested Wamboldt Saturday in Derry, New Hampshire, while he was visiting family members.
Charges against Wamboldt include statutory rape, indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and child pornography possession.
Wamboldt was held on $10,000 bail, one fifth of the bail prosecutors requested. The court ordered Wamboldt to wear a GPS bracelet and have no contact with the victim if he is released.
It was not immediately clear if Wamboldt had an attorney.
The suspect is due back in court Nov. 20.
