State police say the body of a woman was found in a pond in Lyman, New Hampshire, and it appears she drowned while swimming.
Residents contacted authorities after finding the woman in Dodge Pond shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was in her 70s. State police say it appears she had been swimming alone.
An investigation is continuing.
