One person was killed Tuesday evening in a one-vehicle crash in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
State troopers responded to the crash on Enneking Parkway, at the entrance to Stony Brook Reservation, at 5:39 p.m. where a Chevrolet pickup had veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
Police said the driver, a 44-year-old Dedham man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man's passenger suffered serious injuries and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
