One man is dead and a woman critically injured when their vehicles collided in Wilbraham late Friday night.
Police and firefighters respondeed to the area of 934 Main St. at 11:30 p.m. after a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Police located two vehicles, each with a single occupant, according to the police news release.
The male driver was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead after arriving there, police said. The woman was reported in critical but stable condition.
Police have not released the names of either driver.
The crash is under investigation by the Hampden County District Attorney's Office, Massachusetts State Police, and the Wilbraham Police Department.
