Vermont State Police have released the name of the man who died after the all-terrain vehicle he was operating left a roadway and hit trees.
On Monday, police said 56-year-old Troy J. Gadue, of Monkton, died of injuries suffered in the crash that was reported at 11:25 a.m. Sunday.
They say an initial investigation shows Gadue was travelling in Lincoln when he left the road and struck several trees before the ATV came to a rest. He was not wearing a helmet.
The Vermont State Police were assisted on the scene by members of the Lincoln Fire Department and the Bristol Rescue Squad.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is continuing.
