One person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash in Avon, Massachusetts, according to state police.
Authorities said several vehicles collided on Route 24 northbound, just north of exit 18, at about 9:20 p.m.
Police said investigating shows a 2006 Hyundai Tiburo was passing other vehicles using multiple lanes when it lost control and struck another vehicle.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 20-year-old man from Brockton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
