Hundreds Without Power in Connecticut

At least 373 Eversource customers and 458 United Illuminating customers have lost power Sunday morning as the state experiences heavy rain and high winds. 

In the late morning a total of about 2,555 in Connecticut didn't have power. 

Stafford had 1,314 power outages earlier, but that has been restored. As of 2:27 p.m., North Haven has 347 outages and East Haddem has 156. 

The NBC Connecticut meteorologists have declared today a First Alert Weather day. 

The Connecticut shoreline in southern Fairfield and New Haven counties were under a coastal flooding advisory until 1 p.m.
