Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, have arrested a man accused of hitting a relative in the head and holding her against her will.
Officers responded to 112 Hills Ferry Road on April 30 after a woman called and reported James Brennan, 20, assaulted her.
The woman told police she managed to escape the home and flee into the woods.
She was not seriously injured.
Brennan was arrested and faces charges of kidnapping and domestic assault.
He was arraigned on May 1 and remains held on $10,000 bail.
