Police say the arrest came after a trooper stopped the car for speeding at 90 mph

State police say they arrested two New York men along the Maine Turnpike in Kennebunk after finding $25,000 worth of heroin in their car.

Police say the arrest came after a trooper stopped the car for speeding at 90 mph along the northbound lane in Kennebunk at 2 a.m. on Tuesday. They arrested 28-year-old Robert Hines and 30-year-old Jason Viorla after a police dog indicated there were drugs in the car.

Police charged Viorla and Hines with trafficking in heroin. Both are being held on $20,000 bail. It was unclear on Wednesday if the men had attorneys.
