State police are investigating after a sport utility vehicle was struck by gunfire as it drove on Route 146 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Police say it happened just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday as the SUV traveled between Admiral Street and Branch Avenue.
No one was injured.
Police say they're searching for a dark-colored sedan. It's not clear if police have a suspect or motive in the shooting.
