A stepson reportedly stabbed his father at a home in Salem, police said.
According to police, they received a report of a domestic incident on Tremont Street in Salem, Massachusetts at 10:43 a.m. Thursday.
A stepson allegedly stabbed his father, who then attempted to drive himself to the hospital but wound up passing out behind the wheel, police said.
The victim was then transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The stepson is currently in custody, police said.
It is unclear if he has an attorney.
