Pair Charged with Trafficking Meth in Maine

Two men are facing a multitude of charges following their arrest for selling methamphetamine in Maine on Friday.

Jared Fogg, 27, of both Florida and Maine, and Rogelio Rios, 29, of Florida, were arrested at the Briarwood Motor Inn in Lincoln, Maine, after MDEA agents placed the pair under surveillance earlier in the week.

The search led the agents, along with the Lincoln Police Department, to the motel where they were able to search Rios' car and motel room and found 125 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 42 grams of heroin, more than $19,000 in cash and two 9mm handguns -- one of which was found to have been stolen.

Fogg and Rios were charged with multiple counts of aggravated trafficking and are being held at Penobscot County Jail on $75,000 bail.
