A paraglider had to be rescued from the side of a cliff in Bourne, Massachusetts.
The Bourne and Plymouth fire departments were among those to respond to the Sagamore Highlands after a call around 4:05 p.m. Saturday for a report of a paraglider down.
Firefighters were lowered down a cliff to reach the injured paraglider. Video shows first responders lowering the man down onto Sagamore Beach.
Officials say the person was unconscious for 5-10 minutes after the crash. He was conscious when he was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth with serious injuries. There is no update on his condition at this time.
Multiple agencies responded to the paragliding crash including Bourne police and the Sandwich Fire Department.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
