Source: Dion Lewis Agrees to 4-Year Deal With Titans

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a four-year contract with free agent running back Dion Lewis.

A person familiar with the deal says the sides agreed to the contract on Tuesday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because signings can't become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the pact.

The person said the deal for the former Patriots starter carries a maximum value of $23.4 million.

Lewis had his first season with New England in 2015 season cut short by knee surgery after seven games.

He played just seven games during his return in 2016, but he had a career season in 2017, leading New England with 896 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. He also had three receiving scores and was the Patriots' best kickoff returner, posting a 103-yard return for a touchdown against Denver.

In Tennessee, he joins Derrick Henry in the backfield. He'll also be reunited with former teammate Logan Ryan as well as Malcolm Butler, who also agreed to a deal with the Titans on Tuesday.
