A man was hospitalized Monday night after police say he was struck by a vehicle in Wareham, Massachusetts.
Officers responded to he area of 3029 Cranberry Highway at about 8:30 p.m. where they found the 56-year-old man in the road with serious injuries.
Witnesses told police the vehicle that hit the man, fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for the driver.
